A HydraFacial is a multi-step facial done with a handheld device that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates in one visit. It’s gentle, it doesn’t sting, and you walk out with skin that looks brighter right away.
If you’ve never had one, the device can look a little intimidating. It isn’t. Most first-timers describe it as a cool, light suction that feels more like a massage than a treatment.
Before your visit
- Skip retinoids and strong exfoliants for about 48 hours beforehand, so your skin isn’t already irritated.
- Avoid waxing or laser on your face the week before.
- Come as you are. Makeup is fine; we start by taking it off.
The treatment, step by step
- Cleanse and peel. A gentle resurfacing tip lifts away dead skin and buildup.
- Extract. Painless vortex suction clears out pores, no squeezing involved.
- Hydrate. Serums with antioxidants and hyaluronic acid are pushed into the skin.
- Boost (optional). Targeted add-ons for brightening, firming, or congestion.
Plan for about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the add-ons you choose. Your esthetician will talk you through each step as it happens.
Right after
There’s no downtime. Skin can look slightly flushed for an hour or so, then it settles into that hydrated glow. You can go straight back to work or out for dinner.
- Wear sunscreen and skip heavy makeup for the rest of the day if you can.
- Hold off on retinoids and exfoliating acids for a day or two.
- Drink water and keep your skincare simple overnight.
How often to book
One facial gives you an instant lift. For lasting change in texture, congestion or dullness, most people book every four to six weeks. We’ll suggest a rhythm after we’ve seen how your skin responds.
