What it helps with
Opus Plasma by Alma uses fractional plasma and RF energy to resurface skin and boost collagen. These are the top concerns. Tap one to see what it helps.
Tiny plasma micro-channels resurface the top layer and spark renewal, so skin can look and feel smoother.
Collagen stimulation can soften fine lines around the eyes, mouth and forehead as your skin rebuilds.
Opus can help soften the look of acne scars over a series, as new collagen helps smooth the surface.
RF heating beneath the surface supports collagen, which can help skin look firmer and more toned.
As your skin resurfaces and renews, pores can look smaller and skin can look more even and polished.
Not sure if it’s right for you? That’s exactly what the consult is for.
More than a refresh
Opus is true resurfacing, so many people notice smoother, brighter skin after one session, with more improvement over a series.
Compared with traditional ablative lasers, Opus typically means less downtime. Most people need a few days of social downtime.
The treatment itself takes about 10 to 15 minutes for a full face. Want it painless? We can have a CRNA sedate you, just like for a colonoscopy.
Dr. Kat adjusts depth and intensity to your goals, from a lighter refresh to deeper resurfacing.
What to expect, day by day.
Tap through the timeline. The surface heals in days, while collagen keeps building for months.
We apply numbing cream first. Treatment takes about 10 to 15 minutes, and skin will feel warm, like a sunburn.

Before & after care
A few simple steps help you get the best possible result.
Skip tanning, sunburns, and self-tanner for about two weeks before treatment.
Stop retinoids and exfoliating acids about a week before, or as Dr. Kat advises.
If you get cold sores, let us know. Preventive medication from your provider may be recommended.
Plan a few low-key days after treatment, and book well ahead of big events or photos.
If you choose CRNA sedation, plan for someone to drive you home afterward.
